What is WhoCam?
WhoCam is a live-chat website built around the question “who appears next?” Enter chat to explore the available options for a one-to-one conversation. The ribbon-eye logo identifies the brand; photos and animations on the public pages are illustrations, not proof that a particular person is online.
You may have searched for “Who Cam,” “WhoCam live” or “who’s live cam.” The name used here is WhoCam and the domain is whocam.live. Similar spelling alone does not establish that another website, app or account belongs to this service.
To understand how these answers distinguish observed product behavior from public claims and unknowns, read our editorial standards. They explain the limits behind the advice rather than offering a guarantee about your next conversation.
2
What does the public entry do?
It opens chat so you can see the current options and account requirements before starting. A person shown in a homepage photograph is not waiting behind that button. Follow the setup on the chat screen rather than expecting the picture to become your call.
The homepage does not create a second matching system, estimate a queue position or promise that another person will appear within a fixed time.
3
Where should I look for an exact answer?
For current price, currency, balance or free access, look at the live account and checkout. For formal data handling and age rules, use the current policies. For a device problem, use the camera and microphone guide.
If a public page conflicts with the product, contact WhoCam through the real support route once available and include the page, device, date and observed state.
4
Can I choose someone from a homepage photo?
No. The photographs help express the idea of meeting people, but they are not selectable profiles or a list of people waiting for you. Enter chat to see what the service actually offers. A picture on a public page does not establish membership, identity or availability.
Do not pay someone who claims they can arrange a call with a person pictured here. Read any offer inside your account and judge it by its stated terms, not by a photograph or a private promise. You can leave without buying anything if the available options are not what you expected.
5
Is Who Cam the same as WhoCam and whocam.live?
Yes. WhoCam is the name of this service and whocam.live is its website. You may have searched for “Who Cam” or “WhoCam live” with a space. Check the address in your browser before signing in, particularly if you arrived through a search result or a link in a message.
A similar name does not make another website part of WhoCam. Bookmark whocam.live if you plan to return. If someone sends a different address and asks for a password, payment or verification code, stop and check it independently rather than trusting the logo alone.
6
Does the homepage show people who are online now?
No. Homepage photos are editorial illustrations, not a list of people waiting to speak with you. They do not identify your next match. The coloured bands and moving cards are part of the page design, not an indication that a particular person is online.
Enter the matching flow to see what is available for your session. The person you meet may differ from every image on the homepage. Availability can change while you browse, and a photograph cannot promise a particular identity, location, appearance or waiting time.
7
How long will it take to find someone?
There is no guaranteed match time. It depends on who is available, your selected mode and whether your device can connect. Opening the homepage does not put you in a queue. Choose your mode and use Start when you are ready to begin.
If no one connects, check whether the screen is still searching or asking you to resolve a permission problem. Those need different responses: waiting will not fix a blocked camera. You can leave the matching screen rather than waiting longer than you intended.
8
Why might I see another Start button after entering?
The homepage button and product Start have different jobs. The first moves from the public site into the application. The second can confirm matching after account, mode or media-permission decisions that the homepage cannot make for the user.
Entering the app does not mean your camera is already broadcasting. Take a moment to choose the mode you want and read any permission request. If you change your mind before matching, leave that screen; you do not need to start a conversation just because you opened the app.
9
Does WhoCam guarantee a country, gender or match time?
No. Country pages provide local language, privacy, payment and consumer context; they do not create country-only pools. Visual examples do not guarantee the next participant’s identity or appearance.
Preference controls, when the product offers them, should be read according to their exact wording and current account conditions. WhoCam does not translate a preference into a guaranteed outcome or publish a fixed wait time that availability cannot support.
10
Is WhoCam free, and when would I recharge?
The live account shows any current free allowance or access condition. Free entry, free matching and free call time are not automatically the same. This FAQ cannot grant an allowance or make an expired offer current.
If you decide to recharge, check the package, currency and total in the official checkout. A balance reminder is not an obligation to buy. You can stop the session instead. Payment also does not guarantee that someone from a call that has ended will still be available.
11
What happens if camera permission is denied?
The browser cannot provide the selected video mode until site and operating-system permissions allow the intended camera. Open whocam.live in a full supported browser, check the address-bar permission, then the system permission for that browser.
A physical shutter, another app or the wrong input can produce a similar symptom. Use the camera help page for the diagnostic order. Repeated matching attempts cannot repair hardware the browser is not receiving.
12
What do Next, Stop, report and block mean?
Next leaves the current conversation and looks for another match. Stop ends the session. Report sends details of conduct for review, while block limits further contact where that control is available. Choose the action that fits what happened rather than treating them as interchangeable buttons.
An ordinary mismatch needs no accusation. Harmful conduct may need reporting, but the user should end live exposure first. A report does not guarantee a ban, response time or result, and block does not erase media already seen.
13
Does 1v1 or anonymous mean the call is completely private?
No. 1v1 describes two participants in the active room. An alias may reduce what the other person sees. Neither statement guarantees identity verification, confidentiality, zero platform data or protection from remote screen capture.
Read the current privacy policy for service data and use the privacy checklist for visible exposure. If recognition or copying would create serious harm, live stranger video may not be the appropriate format for that session.
14
Where do support, safety and privacy questions go?
Use product controls for an active harmful call, the verified support route for account or order issues, and the formal privacy route for data requests. Banks, payment providers and local authorities remain responsible for incidents within their authority.
A verified public support email is not listed on the Contact page yet. Do not send account details to an address guessed from the domain. For a harmful conversation, leave and use the available report or block controls; you do not need to wait for an email reply to end contact.
Until then, no unofficial address should be treated as WhoCam support.
Use only verified routes.
